Operational Processing
This is a highly structure proprietary process that creates operational information from detailed platform data. The program processing is based on a sophisticated set of rules that groups all system processing into operrational groups. The information is provided on an interval (usually 60 minutes) basis. All processing is controlled by a robust set of processing options
For each interval, the information is divided into the following data groups:
The Operational processing on a system is the processing that is operations centric. That is to say, it is centered around online and batch processing.
The Operational processing is a proprietary process that creates hybrid technical information from detailed platform information.
| · |
Disk: This is the information related to the disk processing. The information includes data about disk activity as well as disk usage. |
| · |
Batch Regular: This is the information related to the regular batch processing. This processing is based on the Batch Processing Window. |
| · |
Batch Unscheduled: This is the information related to unscheduled batch processing. This is the batch processing that occurs outside of the Batch Processing Window. |
| · |
Batch Total: This is the total Batch processing information. |
| · |
Batch Window: This information about the Batch Processing Window. |
| · |
Online Regular: This is the information related to the regular Online (interactive) processing. This processing can occur any time during the day. |
| · |
Online Intensive: This is the information related to intensive Online (interactive) processing. This type of processing is when a program uses a large amount of resources in a short period of time (such a looping program). This processing can occur any time during the day. |
| · |
Online Total: This is the total Online processing information. In addition to the common values provided, this group will include transaction information. The transaction information consists of counts, times, and response categories. |
| · |
Total: This is the total activity processing information. |
| · |
Power Quota: Information regarding the budgeted metered usage on the system. |
The processing allows for the summarization of data into a single day, week, month, or year. The summarization record also includes some additional information about the total used capacity on the system.
