Activity Processing
This is a highly structure proprietary process that creates business centric information related to the business processes. The program processing is based on a sophisticated set of rules that groups all system processing into business processes. In addition, all system overheads can be either displayed or folded into the other activity processing. All processing is controlled by a robust set of processing options.

For each resulting business process, the information is divided into the following data groups:
The Activity processing on a system is the processing that is generally business centric. That is to say, it is centered around business activities.

The Activity processing is a proprietary process that creates hybrid business centric information from detailed platform information.
· Batch Regular: This is the information related to the regular batch processing. This processing is based on the Batch Processing Window.
· Batch Unscheduled: This is the information related to unscheduled batch processing. This is the batch processing that occurs outside of the Batch Processing Window.
· Batch Total: This is the total Batch processing information.
· Online Regular: This is the information related to the regular Online (interactive) processing. This processing can occur any time during the day.
· Online Intensive: This is the information related to intensive Online (interactive) processing. This type of processing is when a program uses a large amount of resources in a short period of time (such a looping program). This processing can occur any time during the day.
· Online Total: This is the total Online processing information. In addition to the common values provided, this group will include transaction information. The transaction information consists of counts, times, and response categories.
· Total: This is the total activity processing information.
For each of the data groups, the folllowing information is provided:
· Power Hours: The total number of Power Hours performed by the processing. This value is based on the Power of the system..
· Power Months: The total number of Power Months performed by the processing. This value is based on the Power of the system. One month is equal to 30.4375 days.
· Standard Hours: The total number of Standard Computing Hours performed by the processing. This value is the Power Hours used by the system converted to a standard location value.
· Standard Months: The total number of Standard Computing Months performed by the processing. This value is the Power Months used by the system converted to a standard location value. One month is equal to 30.4375 days..
· Processor Seconds: The total number of Processor seconds that were used by the processing.
· I/O Total:The total number of I/Os that were performed by the processing..
· I/O Reads: The total number of Read I/Os that were performed by the processing.
· I/O Writes: The total number of Write I/Os that were performed by the processing.
The Activity information is provided on an interval (usually 60 minutes) basis. The processing allows for the summarization of data into a single day, week, month, or year.
