Collecting Agent
While the performance information is available from the operating system through standard API's, the retrieval and storage of the information can be complex. For this reason a collecting agent is available (free of charge) to facilate the collecting of required information. The agent is provided in the form of source files. This files are then compiled and deployed by the customer in a secured manner.
The collecting agent is a low impact data collection process that results in a single compact file for each day. This file is then transferred to the central processing location (RG Solutions® loaded on a standard PC). The agent is provided in the form of a "C" source file. This file is then compiled and deployed by the customer in a secured manner.
