Operating System
This is the proprietary operating system that is provided by Microsoft. The product implementation includes the following performance information:
This is the proprietary operating system that is provided by Microsoft.
A specialized collecting agent is available for this operating system.
Topics
In addition to the detailed platform centric information, the processing also includes the processing that forms the proprietary Activity and Operational information. This information is formed from the detailed platform information.
The processing also includes options that allows for the formation of several types of summary information based on the detailed performance information.
Unlike other operating systems, the Windows operating system has a very rich set of performance "Objects". Since this set numbers in the hundreds and changes with the applications that run on the system, it is not possible to implement a full set of performance objects for this operating system. If an object is needed that is not present, it is possible to add this processing for the user.
Collecting Agent
The collecting agent for the Windows information is a robust program implementation. The collecting agent can run as a service and can collect all information available for the system (regardless of implementation). Unimplemented objects can be gathered for later implemenation and analysis.
The collecting agent is a low impact data collection process that results in a single compact file for each day. This file is then transferred to the central processing location (RG Solutions® loaded on a standard PC). The agent is provided free of charge.
